SHARE THIS ON FACEBOOK The owners of some of the most expensive and sought-after supercars in the world had to brave torrential rain and muddy conditions in order to showcase their exotic vehicles at the invitation-only event. The event managed to raise nearly £5,000 for the Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospital in Sheffield, which provides support and care to children who have shortened life expectancy. The event organizers praised the car owners for braving the adverse weather condition, which could have damaged their vehicles and come together for a good cause. The fleet of vehicles on display were a sight to behold and looked simply stunning, while there were also some extremely rare supercars such as the Ford GT 720 Mirage, a rare 70s Ferrari Daytona and the BAC Mono that was driven by Oliver Webb, former Lemans Champion. The final photo-shoot that was held on the runway showed the adverse weather conditions, but the event organizers were pleased that the car owners braved the weather and risked damaging their super-expensive luxury supercars, while they were being arranged in order for the photo-shoot. Every single year the Supercar Driver arranges a secret supercar driver meet, which is held at the Bruntingthorpe Aerodrome and Proving Ground, Leicester. It is a special occasion where all members can only attend by invite and take part in the most incredible lineup of supercars ever assembled for an incredible photograph. The supercar meet is held annually and it is currently in its second year, where an astonishing array of supercars and exotic cars were assembled. The overall count was 200 supercars in total that were at the secret meet and had a combined estimated value of £20 Million! The main aim of the event was not to get together the largest group of supercar owners from all over the United Kingdom, but to raise some funds for the Bluebell Wood Hospice in Sheffield. There were some truly eye-catching supercar beauties at the event, with legendary names such as the Pagani Zonda, Bugatti Veyron SuperSport World Record Edition, 3 Koenigseggs, Porsche 918 Spyder, an ex Sultan of Brunei Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing, and the Ferrari LaFerrari. These supercars were not only exemplary to look at but looked incredibly impressive when they were all lined up together.
